Parents of students in grades 6 through 12 are invited and encouraged to attend the upcoming information nights to learn more about the new College Preparatory Math (CPM) program being used by 6th – 12th grade students this year. (Parents of students in lower grade levels are also welcome to attend.) CPM is a resource that uses problem-based lessons, collaborative student study teams, and learning strategies that are consistent with the Standards for Mathematical Practices. These informational meetings will provide parents with an overview of CPM and what a typical lesson looks like for the students. If you are unable to attend, we will be posting the meeting notes on the Olmsted Falls District website following the presentations.
