"HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT" PROGRAM - TONIGHT - TUESDAY, JANUARY 19TH AT OFMS

The Olmsted Falls PTA Council will host the Hidden in Plain Sight program on Tuesday, January 19th. It is open to all adults in the district.

Looks can be deceiving. That’s the message behind the Hidden in Plain Sight program that the Bath and Copley Township police departments created. The program shows what appears to be – at first glance – the bedroom of the average teenager. However, among the clutter of clothing, school supplies and personal care products, are more than 150 items that can actually be signals that a young person could be involved in risky, dangerous and even illegal activity. Audience members are encouraged to explore the display that may be indicative of a teenager who is involved in substance abuse, underage drinking, eating disorder, sexual activity and more.

The program will open at 6 p.m. for browsing followed by the presentation at 6:30 p.m. It is open to all residents and non-residents of the district. Due to the subject matter, however, this will be an adults-only program. If you cannot arrive at the designated start time, please join us when you can.
