Auditor of State Award for Olmsted Falls City Schools

 

The Auditor of State’s office has returned a clean audit report and awarded the district with the Auditor of State Award for its strong fiscal accountability and excellent record keeping.

“This is just another example of how Olmsted Falls City Schools is being efficient and effective with taxpayer resources,” said Treasurer Emily Dales. “We put a high priority on sharing accurate information about our financial story with the community and this award reflects that belief.”

The Auditor of State Award is presented to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit which meets set criteria of a clean audit report. In the letter that accompanied the award, Auditor of State Dave Yost wrote, “clean and accurate record-keeping are the foundation for good government, and the taxpayers can take pride in your commitment to accountability.”

“Olmsted Falls City Schools has strong financial management principles in place,” said Superintendent Jim Lloyd, Ed.D. “We believe in being open and transparent with our community and I’m proud of the tremendous work our staff has done to earn this award.”
