Class of 2009 Bulldog grad Katie Nageotte will compete in the 2016 Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon this weekend.  Preliminaries take place on Friday, July 8th, with the top 12 advancing to the finals on Sunday, July 10th.

Katie is currently ranked 3rd in the United States and 15th in the world.  As a Bulldog, Katie was the Ohio High School D1 State Pole Vault Champion in 2009.  Attending Ashland University, Katie was a 3-time All-American and was 2013 indoor and 2013 Outdoor D1 National Champion. Since graduating college, Katie has competed throughout the country and in Innsbruck, Austria; Rome, Italy; Manchester and Birmingham, England; Taipei, Taiwan; Jamaica; Brazil; Puerto Rico; Costa Rica and Doha Qatar.

NBCSports.com will air the Women's Pole Vault Finals live at 4:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 10th.  The top 3 finishers will compete in Rio in August.
