The Power Point slides from the recent presentations on the new Common Core Standards are now available in pdf format below.  More than 100 parents and residents attended the recent information sessions led by Assistant Superintendent Ms. Kelli Cogan.

The presentations focused on an overview of the Common Core Standards for both Reading and Math, and provided parents with valuable and specific grade level examples. School officials also fielded questions from the audience.

A list of frequently asked questions generated from the Q & A portions of each session is currently being compiled and will be posted here online shortly.  Please watch the blog for that additional information, which we hope parents who were unable to attend either event last month will find useful in addition to the Power Point slides.
