Dear Parents:
Thank you to all of our parents and staff for making the 2012-2013 school year a great year for all of our students at Olmsted Falls Intermediate School. Please take a minute to read the information below regarding the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year.
On Friday, August 9th, homeroom assignments will be posted both on the main entrance doors and on the Intermediate School website. Stop up anytime during the day or log onto www.ofcs.net to find out the room number and name of your child’s homeroom teacher.
On Friday, August 16th from 1:00-3:00, students will have the opportunity to visit the Intermediate School. During that time, students can locate their homeroom as well as the art room, music room, cafeteria, and gymnasium.
Students will be expected to report to their homeroom on the first day of school (8/20/13). Staff members will be on hand to help students find their way. Throughout the day, teachers will take their students on a tour of the building.
The school fees for 4th grade will be $65 and 5th grade will be $80. Fees will be collected the first week of school. Payment can be made by check (payable to Olmsted Falls Intermediate School), cash, or online by going to the District Website and clicking on the EZPAY logo.
The bus garage will mail a postcard to each child in August. The postcard will include the bus number along with pick-up and drop off times. Please encourage your child to ride the buses starting with the first day of school. In doing so, students develop a degree of independence and are able to acclimate to a new routine along with peers. We have found that children acclimate quickly and benefit greatly from this experience. Have a safe and enjoyable summer!!
