Olmsted Falls City Schools will be transitioning our online fee payment platform from EZPay to PaySchools Central.  Effective Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the EZPay platform will be replaced by PaySchools Central.  The reason for this transition is that the EZPay platform is being discontinued by the vendor and replaced with the upgraded product, PaySchools Central.

Families should find this transition relatively seamless, and find the new PaySchools Platform similar to that of the online EZPay system.  PaySchools Central also features a convenient APP that can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple App Store.  

WHAT STEPS DO I NEED TO TAKE TO TRANSITION EXISTING EZPAY ACCOUNTS FOR MY FAMILY?

The only action needed will be for existing users to REGISTER with PaySchools Central to establish your account on the new platform.  New users are also invited to register to begin using PaySchools Central.

• Whether you are an existing user or a new user, you will need your child’s Student Number during PaySchools Central account setup.  The Student Number can be found in your PowerSchool Parent Account located in the top left corner of the screen for each of your students.  If you need any assistance in locating your child’s Student Number, please reach out to your school office.

• All existing account balances currently in EZPay will AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFER over to your new PaySchools Central account once you have completed registration and added your student(s). 

WHEN WILL THE TRANSITION FROM EZPAY TO PAYSCHOOLS CENTRAL OCCUR?

The EZPay platform will be shut down at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, and immediately be replaced by the new PaySchools Central platform at that time.  Users attempting to login to EZPay after 3:00 PM on February 28th will receive a message advising that their EZPay account has been replaced by PaySchools Central, and will conveniently be provided the link to access PaySchools Central and register.

PLEASE NOTE: All school meals and school fee balances are housed within our PowerSchool system.  The district uses an online payment portal simply to process funds/payments through. Please note that whether you have the chance to register your new PaySchools Central account by 2/28/23 transition or not, your student(s) will continue to be able to access their existing funds during breakfast and lunch.  When it comes time for you to add additional funds to your account, or pay off negative balances, that is when you will absolutely need to have your new PaySchools Central account operational.
