RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2019-2020

An email communication regarding the opening of the 2019-2020 Returning Student Registration portal was sent to all OFCS parents on Friday, August 2nd.  All student information updates and forms for the 2019-2020 school year MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE BY TUESDAY, AUGUST 27TH, BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28TH.

The link to access this online registration system for all OFCS students is located within your existing PowerSchool Parent Account.  To review, update and submit information for your student(s) for the 2019-2020 school year, you must be logged into to your existing PowerSchool Parent Account; the student registration link is not accessible through PowerSchool Student Accounts.  If you have forgotten your login information, please click the “Forgot Username or Password?” link on the login page for a reset.

PLEASE NOTE: that a significant upgrade to the PowerSchool portal for 2019-2020 requires that we obtain a fresh collection of all emergency contact information for all students.  For parents, this means you will be entering fresh, updated information into most fields as you complete this year’s online registration process (as opposed to simply reviewing existing information that has been previously entered in past years).  Please plan to have contact information for all emergency contacts and health care providers on hand before you sit down to complete this year’s process. If you have multiple students in the district, common information you enter for your first student (i.e. home address, emergency contact info.) will automatically transfer over to sibling records where you can simply review and edit to save time.

IMPORTANT:  If you have more than one child attending Olmsted Falls Schools, you MUST COMPLETE THIS REVIEW/UPDATE PROCESS FOR EACH STUDENT.

How do I get started?

All returning student registrations must be initiated through your PowerSchool Parent Account.  You can access your PowerSchool parent portal at:   https://psof.nccohio.org/public 

On the left side of your screen click on the 2019-2020 Returning Student Registration Link

You will next see a Snapcode Authentication screen and be prompted for your student’s birth date.  

Enter as:  MM/DD/YYYY  format.

What if I don’t have a parent portal account or need assistance signing onto my account? 

If you are new to the district and don’t have an account or one of your students are not assigned to your account please contact Tim Wulfhoop at twulfhoop@ofcs.net for assistance.  Please include your first and last name as well as the student’s first name, last name and grade level.  

If you are having trouble with your user name and password, please first try the forgot username/password options from the parent portal sign-on screen.  E-mail Tim if you do not get a response from the forgot link. 

Do I have to answer all the questions? 

Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.

What if I make a mistake? 

If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click “< Prev” to return to a previous page.

I’ve completed the form, now what? 

When you have finished entering your information, click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.

What if I have more than one student in the district? 

Do I need to do this for each child? Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you COMPLETELY submit one Returning Student Registration and then start another by returning to the PowerSchool parent portal and select the next student at the top. This will allow you to “snap over” shared family information, which will save you time.   Repeat this process for all students on your account.
