If you are completing electronically, you will need to download and save the file to your computer before completing the file. NOTICE OF VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
OF THE OLMSTED FALLS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
On January 1, 2023, a vacancy will be created on the Olmsted Falls City Schools Board of Education due to the resignation of a Board member effective December 31, 2022. The board must name a replacement within 30 days of the resignation. Pursuant to Board Policy 0145, the Board is currently seeking qualified and interested candidates to consider filling this vacancy and will interview prospective candidates during the month of December to be prepared to appoint the new board member during the Annual Organization Meeting scheduled for January 12, 2023. The newly appointed board member will serve the remainder of the unexpired board seat until December 31, 2023. If the newly appointed member desires to continue serving, he or she must run in the November 2023 general election. Any interested person must submit an application setting forth their qualifications for the position. The application can be found on the Olmsted Falls City Schools website at ofcs.net. Candidate interviews will be conducted between December 12-14, 2022. Eligibility requirements include: being a U.S citizen; being at least 18 years of age; being a resident of the Olmsted Falls City School District and being registered to vote in the Olmsted Falls City School District.
