IMPORTANT UPDATE: OFCS TO CONTINUE IN HYBRID MODEL (10/29/20 3:00 PM)

Dear Bulldog Families:

I am pleased to be able to report that this afternoon Governor DeWine announced that Cuyahoga County has been downgraded from a Level 3* (Red, Purple Watch), back to a Level 3 (Red) COVID Advisory, which means we will be able to continue with our Hybrid model of instruction.  I want to thank you for your time and attention to our communication updates this past week.  It is our intention to provide you with as much advance notice as possible ahead of potential shifts in instructional models when we are able to do so.

Again, we will remain in our Hybrid model for now.  As a reminder, the hybrid schedule next week changes as a result of Election Day occurring on Tuesday. The hybrid schedule for next week is as follows:

  • Monday, 11/2 - Blue Group attends in-person
  • Tuesday, 11/3 Election Day / NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
  • Wednesday, 11/4 - Blue Group attends in-person
  • Thursday, 11/5 - Gold Group attends in-person
  • Friday, 11/6 Gold Group attends in-person

Please continue to practice and encourage the mitigation techniques we are using in our school buildings when you are out in the community as well.  Practice social distancing, wear your masks, and be sure to thoroughly wash your hands.  We can all do our part to help slow the spread of coronavirus and keep our county out of a Level 4 (Purple) Advisory.

Sincerely,

Jim
