JULY 2022 UPDATE

With drainage work completed, work to remove the remaining grass field surface continued into July.  Once the existing field surface had been removed, the ground was leveled, prepped and filled with stone.  During July, curbing was also installed around the perimeter of the playing field area.

Thanks to a $250,000 grant from the Cleveland Browns through the NFL Foundation’s Grassroots Field Grant Program in partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Vitamix Field at Charles Harding Memorial Stadium is receiving this major renovation. Over the past few years, the Bulldog community has been raising private dollars for stadium improvements and this grant from the Cleveland Browns puts us over the finish line! The new turf field will expand access beyond the OFHS football program, positively impacting Olmsted community youth sports through the varsity level, marching band and MORE! Olmsted Falls City Schools is incredibly grateful to all of the private dollars and community partnerships that helped to make this project a reality!
