Bob Perez was elected to the Olmsted Falls Board of Education in November 2023 and was officially sworn in to begin his service in January 2024.  He holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from American Military University, and a Master of Arts degree in Management & Leadership from Webster University.  Mr. Perez is a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  He currently serves as Facilities Supervisor & Project Manager, Site Support, for Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Cleveland.  Prior to his current position with DFAS, Mr. Perez worked in human resource management for Albemarle County Public Schools and Local Government as well as for the City of Charlottesville Police Department.

Mr. Perez is actively involved in the Olmsted community as a member of several groups and organizations including Olmsted Falls Kiwanis Club, Olmsted Falls Athletic Boosters, and Falls-Lenox/ECC and Olmsted Falls Middle School PTA units.  Bob is an active parent volunteer at both Falls-Lenox Primary School and Olmsted Falls Middle School.  He has also served as a member of the Olmsted Township Board of Zoning Appeals.  

Mr. Perez and his wife, Jenny, an US Air Force Veteran herself,  moved to the Olmsted community in 2021 and have two children currently attending Olmsted Falls City Schools.  The school district’s commitment to providing a high quality “Triple A” educational experience for students was one of the primary factors in their decision to move here.
